Summer Sunflowers

Summer Sunflowers
They grow so fast...
In winter when the fields are white,
I sing this song for your delight -

In spring, when woods are getting green,
I'll try and tell you what I mean.

In summer, when the days are long,
Perhaps you'll understand the song;

In autumn, when the leaves are brown,
Take pen and ink and write it down.

Sweeping up after Christmas

Am I scrooge if I can't wait to put away the ornaments and tree...not to mention all the toys the kids have gotten in the past two weeks? I swear they reproduce.
Evander now thinks ice cream is the healthy choice at breakfast time and if anyone comes to the house he expects either a gift or a serenade of "Hark the Herald Angels Sing". Christmas is ruining my son. Caleb hides in the back bedroom away from all the chaos, and Jayne...well, she just doesn't know better.

Evander has been showing Jayne the full scope of possibilities for her toys. You may think it is just a tummy time mat, but no really it is also makes a great tent.
